The act of grounding involves visualizing yourself connected to the earth. You can then visualize yourself centered in the present instead of constantly thinking about the past or the future once you are grounded. Being present in the moment is what we call being in the moment. When grounded, you are totally present in your body, not floating around in the ethers open to psychic attack or influence.
